that’s part of what made
our relationship exiting,
hot,
and our own

were we on a stage?
possibly, we were visible
from the street if
a person were making a point
of looking
a voyeur, of sorts

touching was ecstacy
sucking was nirvana

and the illicitness was
the thrill
